WELCOME to the Village of Clayton, New York. Clayton, a village of approximately 2000, is located in the 1000 Islands region of upstate New York on the beautiful St. Lawrence River. It is approximately 90 miles north of the city of Syracuse, 30 miles north of the city of Watertown and 15 miles south of the Canadian border. The Clayton community is very popular with tourists.
